worlds by watt is an indie tabletop roleplaying game publisher. Our RPGs make the people who play them kinder, stronger, and more connected. We hire diverse creators to bring the unique world of Cloud Empress to life. With each release we aim to make our games more environmentally friendly by using recyclable, plastic free (where possible), and long-lasting materials. With initiatives like the Cloud Empress Creators Fund we work to financially give back to the communities we serve by supporting unique and underrepresented voices.

After toiling years struggling with my own perfectionist tendencies, I started making small watercolor zines during the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tabletop RPG writing became a place to explore existential anxiety, body horror, climate change, and connect with friends. Several game jams, small zine releases, and a few Kickstarter campaigns later, I’m still amazed by the generosity and support I’ve received from the ttrpg community pursuing my art. Thank you for your support. Today I make art games that I hope will be as meaningful when you read them for the first time as when you get them to the table.

As a publisher, worlds by watt believes that tabletop gaming should be an inclusive space where people of marginalized identities feel safe participating. worlds by watt does not support content or creator’s who engage in:

• Discrimination based on sexuality or gender including homophobia, transphobia and sexism
• Racism
• Antisemitism, Islamophobia and discrimination against any non-cult religious beliefs
• Nazism, nazi iconography, and totalitarian governments
• Ableism or discrimination based on disability
• Bullying and harassment
• Sexual harassment
• Government’s control of people’s personal healthcare decisions including gender affirming care and the right to have a safe abortion
